Some were really put off with the intense Nazi scenes and others enjoyed the meatier part. Some felt that Minka telling a story was confusing and others felt it added to it. We had a hard time knowing that Sage came out o her shell to get to know Josef and turn him in when she knew nothing of her grandmother's story. The love for the characters helped us get through the difficult parts. One of us knew the ending but the others were surprised.
